Glass plate photographs from the expeditions to Tierra del Fuego — images made with a reconstruction of Martin Gusinde's plate camera, 1918–1924. Ten plates. Each bears its chemical history — edges frayed by time, corners darkened by silver halide, the emulsion cracked and stained with a century of light.
